Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms, despite being beautiful and comfortable, were a little small and prone to noise from the street and an AC unit that made strange sounds all night. The service was superb, especially at the front desk where Jay went above and beyond to assist us and even booked a traditional Tamascal on his account. The location was perfect and close to the center, a real oasis in Oaxaca, with Nancy providing exceptional help with reservations and recommendations. The dining was delicious but could get a bit dull if staying for an extended period. Overall, a nice place with minor drawbacks.
The hotel offers a great view of Oaxaca from the minimal wood rooms, although they were a little small to easily use. The AC unit made strange noises throughout the night, impacting sleep quality. The staff, especially Jay at the front desk, provided superb service, making our stay enjoyable with thoughtful gestures. The location in Oaxaca was beautiful and close to the center, with Nancy going above and beyond to assist with reservations and recommendations.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. While the rooms were beautifully clean and extremely comfortable, they were a little small, making it tricky to move around freely. The noise in the room was quite disruptive at times. The service was top-notch, with the front desk staff, especially Jay, going above and beyond to assist with all our needs. The location was brilliant, right in the heart of everything, although there were some noise issues due to the tower bedrooms. The dining experience was good, though not necessary with so many other food options in the city. The facilities were decent, but there were better options available.
Despite some noise issues in the rooms and functional design flaws, the hotel impresses with its spacious rooms featuring huge windows and a warm minimalist style. The superb service, especially from Jay at the front desk, elevates the experience. The location, though noisy from street traffic, offers stunning beauty in Oaxaca and is close to the center. While the dining options may be somewhat simple, there are plenty of other food choices in the city. Overall, a mixed experience with some standout positives.
The hotel is a cozy retreat in Oaxaca, offering beautiful and comfortable rooms despite minor damp issues in winter. The exceptional service, with staff always ready to assist in booking activities, adds a welcoming touch to your stay. The location, though slightly distanced, is a peaceful oasis close to the historic district.
The hotel has some design flaws in the rooms but they are still comfortable. The service is exceptional, with helpful staff, especially Jay at the front desk. The location is beautiful but noisy due to street traffic. The dining experience is delightful. The facilities are well-maintained.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were uniquely designed with huge windows and a warm minimalist style but were a bit loud due to street noise and a noisy AC unit. The service, especially at the front desk with Jay, was superb and friendly, going above and beyond to make us comfortable. The location was fine, a bit further out, but still with a pleasant staff. The dining was decent, although not necessary with plenty of good food options in the city. Overall, a stay with both positive and negative aspects.
The hotel's location is quite noisy due to street traffic, but the staff is attentive and ready to assist with bookings, making the stay enjoyable. The rooms are poorly designed with noisy AC units, affecting comfort levels, but the dining experience is decent. The hotel is conveniently located in Oaxaca, offering easy access to the historic district.
